Its a closed hydraulic system so you have issues somewhere, rear cylinders are newly rebuilt so its either MC, calipers or hoses/pipes. I can get a rebuild kit at my door for about $45 and the cheapest cylinder I can find is $225 with the possibility of another RC has given me to chase up costing around the $100-$150 mark. My guess is master cylinder but I just wanted to know if anyone else had any other ideas and also what people thought of rebuilding the cylinder over new. checked it right through for leaks but the system does not appear to be leaking from anywhere. I have good pads, shoes, rotors and drums, and the new fluid. but it has returned to the spongey feel again and I am unhappy. OK rebuilt the rear brake cylinders and put new fluid in, which seemed to fix my spongey brake problem short term.
